Escape to Bellfire, a hidden gem in the Great Western Catskills, perfect for weekend getaways, digital detox escapes and forest retreats. Nestled on 10 private acres, our off-grid glamping site blends maple forest and wildflower meadows, bordering state land with endless wilderness to explore.

With minimal light pollution, the night sky comes alive, offering some of the best stargazing in Upstate NY. Wander along old stone walls, follow a babbling brook through towering maples, and experience the magic of firefly season from May to July in our lovingly cared-for wildflower field.

Unwind in our cedar sauna house, then refresh in a spring-fed, continuously running cold plunge—a rejuvenating way to connect with nature. Relax on our floating deck, soak up the sun, or enjoy a peaceful picnic surrounded by nature.

Hello! We’re Mina & Rich — the hands, hearts, and creative minds behind Bellfire in the Catskills.

Since 2015, we’ve been welcoming travelers to Bellfire, offering unique off-grid glamping experiences for adventurers, dreamers, and nature seekers. Every dwelling on the land is designed, built, and maintained by the two of us — crafted with care, creativity, and a deep respect for the natural world.

Bellfire was built from the ground up with sustainability in mind. We’ve worked hard to keep our footprint light, allowing the land to speak for itself. This place is intentionally simple, wild, and beautiful — a space to unplug, reconnect, and experience a slower rhythm where wildflowers grow and wildlife thrives.

A Little About Us
Mina is a fine art photographer and designer with a passion for interior styling, herbology, gardening, and natural dyeing. Rich is a master woodworker and prolific visual artist whose work spans sculpture, installations, and relief paintings. Together, our creative energies gave life to Bellfire — a one-of-a-kind, off-grid outdoor inn nestled in the Catskill Mountains.
